Dr. Adam Lee Goldstein
Co-Director
Born and raised in Washington DC, Adam immigrated to Israel after high school. After a first degree in geology and creative writing he found his passion in medicine after volunteering in a Mother Teresa Clinic in Ethiopia. He went on to study medicine at the School of International Health at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev followed by a general surgery residency at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. After completing his residency he completed a fellowship in Trauma surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Currently he is the head of trauma surgery at Wolfson Medical Center. Adam aims to optimize trauma care for the community, strengthen access to care for neglected populations, and form bridges of communication and cooperation with Palestinian peers.

Dr. Tamer Jreis
Co-Director
Tamer was born and raised in Bethlehem and received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Cairo in Egypt. He returned to Palestine and undertook medical rotations at Governmental and private hospitals in the West Bank. Tamer is currently an anesthesiology and critical care physician at the Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem. Tamer is a seasoned social entrepreneur having undertook multiple medical initiatives aimed at strengthening the Palestinian health system, especially during the recent pandemic where he worked to secure equipment and training to improve health outcomes.
